Canada Life Buildings 1880 in Hamilton
Located on the southeast corner of King and James Sts.
Canada Life was begun in Hamilton and this was their second set of
offices.
It stood until the early 1970s. Minus the elaborate clock tower which
was lost to fire about 1929.
After CL moved, it became the Hamilton store of Birks Ryrie and was
known locally as the Birks building.
