400 m wide, the Huangpu River divides the city of Shanghai into the areas of Pudong and Puxi, and many famous attractions can be found on both of its banks. The Bund and its colonial buildings, the Monument to the People's Heroes, Waibaidu Bridge and Huangpu Park lie on its western bank while the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jin Mao Tower and the skyscrapers of Lujiazui can be found on its eastern bank. |
