The Kertha Gosa Pavilion is an example of Balinese architecture in the city of Klungkung. The Kertha Gosa Pavilion at Klungkung Palace was built in the early 18th century by Dewa Agung Gusti Sideman. Kertha Gosa means - "the place where the king meets with his ministries to discuss questions of justice". |

Admiring the Craftsman's Work
An artist was painting on a
cloth with colours from natural stone.
He teaches this traditional
art form when not at the pavilion
.
The artist also hand-painted
wooden eggs.
It's amazing how every culture
seems to have some form of these:
Ukrainian Easter Eggs, Russian
Faberge eggs, Chinese painted eggs, etc.
