Stopped at a restaurant half-way
to our destination.
Bill was quite intrigued by
this "orchestra pit". Appears to be a series of bells and gongs?
Robin Hillman would likes these,
but no room in our backpacks!
Sue-On had Gado-Gado, which is
a stir-fried assortment of vgetables,
topped what we thought was to have
been crushed peanuts, but it was a spicy peanut sauce.
Lunch was noodles topped by
a fried egg. This is often the case with many dishes.
This is a home owned by Chinese
family. There is quite a contrast in quality of homes.
Assume this is some investor
or businessman who did well in trade, oil?
.
