CHAPTER 2: THE MORRIS TROPICAL WINTER HOME:
"HOTEL HUMBLE"

Kerry and Shaheda's Winter Home -- Hotel Humble, as they call it.
It's far from humble - a tropical paradise!
1. The entrance to the yard off a main road in the
village.
It's very private, surrpounded by a "forest" of bamboo,
fruit trees, flowering trees, etc.
2. Kerry and Edah's house is watched over by THIS
guardian!
Lounge in the back yard of Hotel Humble.
The school Shahedah's brother built in memory of his
two sons who were killed in accidents.
Over 30 kids come every Friday and Sat morning to
study the Koran.
Lovely to wake up to their chanting and singing in
the morning,
then the parents come to pick the kids up on scooters
or motorcycles.

The mailbox is a gift from friends.
Their daughter painted a winter scene one one side,
and the Morris cottages on the other side,
just to remind Kerry and Shahedah what's like "back
home"

Bill arrived after our long 25-hour flight with a
major chest cold
