THE BRANDON UNIVERSITY
PUKATAWAGAN WEBSITE PROJECT
Created by the students of the
BUNTEP COMMUNICATIONS COURSE 99.090
and
William G. Hillman ~ Assistant Professor ~ Brandon University

All of our journal writing assignments, including the Puk Pit presentations, Prof Travel Day research assignments, audio/video presentations, guest speakers and computer network/online activities have been centered around the theme of Life in Pukatawagan.

You have had the option of presenting your assignments in handwritten and/or computer format. Students have been given computer time each day, since it has been emphasized from the beginning of the course that the best way to collate and integrate all these assignments is in a webpage format to be displayed on the Communications Class website at:
http://www.hillmanweb.com/puk/

Because of technical limitations and the lack of control we have over the Sakastew iMac computer network, each student has been assigned an e-mail account and has been asked to use this account to back up work and to send polished webpage-ready submissions to:
bhillman@brandonu.ca
This will enable you to work with your prof in the design of your webpage on the BU PC laptop computer.

The emphasis in the last three weeks of the course will be on producing material for your final webpage. This will involve writing the Term II journal assignments and collating them with the already completed Term I assignments into a final product to be displayed on your webpage. It is recommended that you supplement this material with related research, photographs, maps, artwork, documents, etc. The prof will work closely with you  in the scanning and processing of your graphics material which you may then use to illustrate your webpage.
