Curling: Trump's Rock = Despotism :: Rock in Circle = Democracy
Trump gets big mad at the debate, just like Harris planned
By Hayes Brown ~ Thanks to MSNBC
Former President Donald Trump’s volume slowly but surely ratcheted up over the first hour of the debate on Tuesday. He started off relatively calm, but as Vice President Kamala Harris needled him on his rallies, his standing in the world, and his legal troubles, he eventually blew up.
There was no sign of him calming down as the debate hit the home stretch and, as a result, his answers began falling apart, drifting into the same disjointed, incoherent ranting that Harris invited people to watch at his rallies.
It’s to the Democratic nominee's credit that her team has been telling the press for days now that her strategy was to push Trump’s buttons enough that he loses focus. That’s exactly what we saw during the debate as she kept her poise — the stray smirk or baffled face aside — and stuck with her talking points and digs. In contrast, Harris brushed off all of the Republican nominee’s attacks, leaving him to bluster even harder at her and the moderators alike.
It’s also exactly the scenario that his advisers were reportedly worried about, with their boss showing up angry and raving versus the hopes that he might against the odds actually focus on Harris’ policies. Even when he tried to do so on Tuesday, there was simply no following his train of thought as he lacked a throughline to come at her.
Harris called him “weak and wrong on national security,” throwing the numerous people who worked for him who have endorsed her into his face. And as I wrote earlier, even with his mic muted when it’s not his turn, there was no shortage of wild things coming out of his mic when it was his turn to speak.
This was probably the worst performance that Trump could have turned out for anyone who was still unsure whether he has the temperament to return to the White House.
Why Trump was a horrible president. (Quora)
- Illegally made money off of the office of the presidency though overcharging for staff and Secret Service to stay at his properties.
- Stole campaign money for his own personal use such as paying his attorneys in his various criminal trials.
- Stole TOP SECRET documents and when asked to return them didn’t then tried to cover up his hiding of said documents by directing his staff to destroy evidence.
- Committed espionage by sharing TOP SECRET info with who knows. Some of those docs are still missing. Who has them? Putin? MBS? Xi?
- Was making payment to CHINA while president due to his business interests there.
- Gave family members with ZERO experience jobs in the White House where Ivanka and Kushner made $1.6 BILLION. ?— That’s a huge number.
- Directed an attempted overthrow of the 2020 election across multiple states.
- Directed a mob to attack the Capitol on Jan 6th causing massive injuries to police officers, a number of deaths and destruction of the Capitol.
- Was an asshole to everyone and everybody who didn’t kiss his ass publicly daily.
- Downplayed the Covid pandemic which led the US (of all countries) suffering more Covid deaths than any other country.
- His tariffs caused massive financial injury to both farmers and businesses that buy Chinese steel made products.
- Called and continues to call reporters fake news for reporting actual verified facts.
- Claims and still claims he won the election in 2020 which obviously he didn’t. This has led to millions of people believing elections are rigged against Trump but somehow magically not other Republicans who won their elections on the same ballot that Trump lost.
- Due to his gas lighting his cult members to believe in his not so subtle call to violence against Trump’s perceived “enemies”. Paul Pelosi being attacked is a clear example of this.
- He released 5000 radical Islamic fundamentalist terrorists in Afghanistan, cut a deal with them, ending the US occupation and dumping that on the incoming Biden administration.
- His bungling of Covid led to massive job losses.
- Spent more government money than any other administration in our lifetimes.
- He’s an adjudicated rapist, convicted felon who has committed fraud on a massive scale. He should be in prison not the White House. What a disgrace to the nation.
Campaign speech in Michigan
“Everything is terrible and the country is going commie and the fake polls are lying and being unfair to me and we're on the verge of another Great Depression like 1929 and it's going to be a disaster like you've never seen and we're closer to a nuclear war than we’ve ever been in history and nobody in charge is respected or knows what they're doing and this is some dangerous stuff and the Democrats are coming for your guns and bibles and none of this ever would have happened if I had been in office and I'm the only very stable genius who can stop and fix all this so… vote for me, folks!
And then you'll never have to vote again!”
Did you hear what Trump said? No need to vote for him. The election won’t matter. He has people ready to not certify the votes. It is a rigged election already. People are in place, especially in the swing states to not certify the election.
What is the reason why I should not vote for Donald Trump?
The specific reason that should stop you personally from voting for Donald Trump?
I don’t know. It depends on what your personal values are.
You could choose not to vote for him because:
He is a lifelong criminal who is well known for hiring small companies to do work for him, then refusing to pay them what he owes them knowing that if they try to sue him for the money, there’s a good chance that their business will go belly up from the expenses long before they win the case, so he can negotiate the price down to a fraction of what he agreed to pay.
He’s a liar, so much of a liar as to make him notably more dishonest than politicians. He’s been recorded telling tens of thousands of lies ranging from the bizarrely mundane (it didn’t rain on my inauguration day) to the incredibly dangerous (immigrants cause crime, mail in voting is a threat to democracy, etc).
He’s corrupt. During his presidency, he appointed family members and sycophants to positions of power, despite lack of qualifications. During his time as president, foreign dignitaries often stayed at his hotels. His trips to Mar A Lago had the government directly paying his resort millions of dollars in order to keep the various staff necessary around him.
He’s a thief. Yes, I’m talking about the documents case. No, I’m not talking about simply taking documents that he shouldn’t have. Honestly, there are plenty of instances of people in politics taking documents they weren’t supposed to have. That happens when you have elected officials dealing with the intricate bureaucracy of government. I’m talking about lying about having them, trying to hide them from people searching for them, suggesting to his council that they just lie to the government about having them, etc.
Attempting to overthrow democracy. Set aside January 6th for a moment. After the 2020 election, Trump attempted to bully election officials into ‘coming up with’ votes for him, pointed his rabid followers at election workers, promoted lies about the election, and refused to perform the basic duties presidents have done for years in order to ensure a peaceful transfer of power after an election.
He’s childish. Have you ever noticed how he responds to criticism with personal insults? Women who say ‘mean things’ about him have their appearance mocked. His political rivals get catchy and cruel nicknames. News agencies that don’t praise him get called ‘fake news.’
He’s a cheater. The man has cheated on ALL THREE of his wives. However you feel about a man who keeps divorcing and marrying younger women, the simple fact is that he has a record of cheating on all of them, something for which he shows no shame or regret. That isn’t a full list, but it should provide at least one or two solid reasons for anyone not to vote for the man.
WINDMILL SPEECH
I never understood wind. You know, I know windmills very much. But they’re manufactured tremendous — if you’re into this — tremendous fumes. Gases are spewing into the atmosphere. You know we have a world, right? So the world is tiny compared to the universe. So tremendous, tremendous amount of fumes and everything. You talk about the carbon footprint — fumes are spewing into the air. Right? Spewing. Whether it’s in China, Germany, it’s going into the air. It’s our air, their air, everything — right? So they make these things, and then they put them up, and if you own a house within vision of some of these monsters, your house is worth 50 percent of the price. They’re noisy, they kill the birds. You want to see a bird graveyard? You just go, take a look, a bird graveyard? Go under a windmill some day. You’ll see more birds than you’ve ever seen ever in your life …”
